On May 21, 2015, Grandmaster Thommy Luke Böhlig, the founder of Wing Tsjun International, conducted a series of Police Tactical Training Programs across multiple Police Training Schools in Sri Lanka, including Kalutara, Boralanda, Nikaweratiya, and Pahalagama.
This specialized training was designed to enhance the tactical skills of Sri Lankan law enforcement officers, equipping them with effective self-defense techniques, close-combat strategies, and situational awareness using the Wing Tsjun Kung Fu system. The program focused on practical applications tailored to real-world policing scenarios, helping officers develop quick reflexes, precision, and control in high-pressure situations.
Grandmaster Böhlig’s expertise in modern self-defense and combat strategies provided an invaluable learning experience for Sri Lanka’s police force, further strengthening their physical and mental preparedness in the line of duty. The training sessions were met with great enthusiasm, reinforcing the importance of martial arts in law enforcement.
This initiative marked a historic collaboration between Wing Tsjun International and Sri Lanka’s Police Training Schools, setting a new standard for tactical training and further expanding the influence of Wing Tsjun Kung Fu in professional security and defense sectors.
